Group and Footwork Classes:
Monday:
Footwork 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Beginner Sabre
Class-Novice to intermediate All ages 7:30 pm-9:00 pm
Footwork level 8
This Class is taught by Alex Fotiyev and Tom Ciccarone and is an
introductory and intermediate sabre class that offers footwork and
bladework as well as time for open fencing.
Tuesday:
Foil Tactical Class 5:00-6:00 Ages 10-16

This is an advanced youth tactical class and is taught by Tom
Ciccarone. It is fenced electrically and is geared to competitive
fencers.
Sabre Intermediate Class 6:00pm
- 7:00pm
This is an intermediate youth tactical class and is taught by Alex
Fotiyev.
Footwork 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm (free class for
CFC members)
Wednesday:
Middle School Class 3:00 - 4:00pm This
class is sponsored by the Danbury School system for middle school
students. It is taught by Tom Ciccarone and Jeremy Goun
Intermediate Epee Class - 5:00pm - 6:00pm
This is an intermediate youth tactical class and is taught by Tom
Ciccarone.

This class is taught by Alex Fotiyev and
Tom Ciccarone and is
applicable to all weapons
Beginner Foil Class-Novice to Intermediate
7:00 pm-8:00 pm
This class is taught by Alex Fotiyev and
Tom Ciccarone and is a novice to intermediate level class and can be used as a stepping stone
to competitive fencing. The class is followed with 1 hour of open
fencing. This class is suitable for youth fencers as well as adults.
Thursday:
Little Musketeers Class - 4:00 - 5:00pm
This class is designed for 5-7 year old kids.
The class revolves around fencing games and uses special ultra light
soft weapons and masks. All equipment is supplied.
Sabre Intermediate Class 6:00pm
- 7:00pm
This is an intermediate - advanced youth tactical class and is taught by Alex
Fotiyev.
Round Robin Fencing for Kids 5:00-7:00
This a time for youth 10, 12, and 14 fencers
to fence electrically.
Footwork 7:00-7:30 (free class for

a Novice to intermediate level class and can be used as a stepping

This class is led by Chris Aher and is
applicable to all weapons.
REAL ROUND ROBINS
EPEE
TOURNAMENT 7:30pm
First Friday of the
Month-Open (All senior USFA members may enter)
Close of registration 7:30-Fee $10
The Real Round Robin schedule is a guideline and may change due
to holiday and area scheduling constraints. Consult www.askfred.net
for up to date correct scheduling information.
Real Round Robin
tournaments are USFA-CT DIV events and will be conducted by USFA
rules. Any USFA member may participate. medals to 3 places will be
awarded and appropriate classifications will be earned. The entry
fee is $10.00 per event. Full equipment and USFA membership
required to participate.

This is a competitive sabre class to be used

Ciccarone and is a
novice to to intermediate class. Ages 10-14
Footwork 11:30-12:00
This Class is led by Alex Fotiyev or Tom
Ciccarone and is
applicable to all weapons.
Advanced Competitive Sabre Round Robin 12:00-2pm
(free to all members)
JUNIOR ELITE CLASSES
The following classes are by application
only. Please check with your coach to see if you are eligible.
(There is a $20 fee for this
class / $15 for half class)
Epee Tactical 1:00-2:00 pm
This class is taught by Tom Ciccarone or Aleksandr
Ulanovskiy.
Advanced FootWork
2:00-3:00pm This Class is led by Tom
Ciccarone and Andrew Hsieh and is a Level 9-10 class
Foil Youth Tactical 3:00-4:00 This Class is led by Tom Ciccarone
and Andrew Hsieh.
Advanced Footwork/ tactical discussions/ sports psychology
workshops-Dates to be announced.
OPEN FENCING ALWAYS-8 GROUNDED STRIPS
The Mon., Wed., Fri.
and Sat. regular class format is:
1/2 hour footwork
1/2 hour
blade work
1 hour controlled

Open
fencing - no limit
The footwork segment of each group class is open to all
CFC members at no charge.
Private Lessons:
- $40.00 per lesson
- Lessons must be scheduled
- Multi-lesson discounts available
NOTE
All lesson bookings, changes, cancellations etc must be done
directly with the coach. Please do not leave messages on
the CFC answering machine or on the center email.

Private Lesson Guidelines:
- Must be scheduled and paid for in advance by the month
- May be affected by weather
- Will be made up in the event of coach cancellation
- May be shortened due to student tardiness in the event of
tight scheduling
- If paid for by the full quarter there will be a 1 week
discount
- Are due in the event of student no show for any reason
- Student must be a member of CFC
- Student must be a member of USFA
Please do not frivolously book lessons. Consult your calendar
and plan accordingly. There is no proviso or refund for emergency
cancellation.
